Anywho.
This Easter started just as I knew it would. Hayden woke up at 7:00 because she was so excited. We had her cuddle in bed until Holden woke up.~ That was the ONLY normal part of the day.
The rest of the day goes something like this.......
Holden wakes up, and somehow gets a hold of one of Haydens sour patch kids. Apparently he was hiding it on the top of his mouth. This is not good when he literally shovels powdered covered donuts into his mouth. Yep, a sour patch kid on the top of your mouth makes a powdered donut stick to the top of your mouth, which induces serious vomitting. Meaning a whole sippy cup worth of milk, plus the previous donuts that had been eaten all over mommy. That would be a total of 6 vomits on me, happy easter. awesome. But, no worries the day gets better......
Then we go to JeJe and BobOs for Easter lunch. We are there for about 5 minutes, and Holden is screaming at the top of his lungs. He apparently had followed MiMi(my 91 year old grandmother) to the restroom, and his little finger was trapped in the door. Since Mimis hearing aid was acting up she did not know what was going on. Once again, awesome, happy easter. Jean slams the door opened, I grab Holden, and there is blood EVERYWHERE! George said he thought I was going to pass out, so he took Holden to see what the situation was. George swears I was screaming his finger is gone, but I think he likes the drama of that story. I might have been a little histerical, but really?? So, we finally get the finger to stop bleeding, and Holden calmed down. After some Elmo bandaids, and some chocolate milk, we were good to go. The only problem is, that little stinker wont keep a band aid on!! He is probably going to loose that nail, and the little flap of skin might scar, but we are all in tact!
I hope everyones Easter went a little smoother than ours:)
